Today we are launching FastAF in San Francisco and Miami, at a time when the two cities are dueling to be the epicenter for the next generation of startups. But our view is much grander than this. Our core mission has always been to bring the goods that people want closer to cities so they can spend their time doing the things they love. For us, it’s not just about where the next startup is born but it’s really about how people want to live their lives.

Our view of the world is that the world has changed forever. We are focused on building for the new world, a world that looks very different from the world that was left behind before the pandemic. In this new world, we are building for one where customers are in a multi-city, hybrid work space and where they care about the brands they buy and want to get them quickly. We saw our average delivery time to be 30 minutes, and our goal will always be to get our products to you, FastAF.

When we set out on a mission to bring the curated products that customers actually want, and faster with an elevated customer experience, we did not anticipate the overwhelming response from our customers as we did. We built FastAF for the modern world, for the modern mom and dad, the modern entrepreneur, fashion designer, teacher, musician, barista. Our goal is to make FastAF available to every creator and every builder as an engine to help them in their journey to achieve their goals. That is our goal. Us launching San Francisco and Miami today is yet another step in achieving that.

With our expansion into San Francisco and Miami today we’re taking FastAF to new heights and bringing the premium selection, premium delivery and convenience to be able to serve more customers. Our customers already love our products. We are seeing customers placing an order every 3 days and opening the app, on average every other day. Our sales doubled from the fourth quarter of 2020 to the first quarter of 2021, and we have been growing 63% WoW, and we are on track to do our biggest month ever. People love spending time on our app, that is clear!

Our investment into our next two cities marks an important milestone. We are doubling the number of cities and thinking about how we support the future of work and the future of living. We want to give our customers access to their favorite drinks and snacks during their work week and deliver your essentials like your must-have shampoo and sunscreen when you need it by never leaving your home, all within minutes. It’s all about community for us. For starters, we’ll have an office in each city to allow us to build out our city teams and a community local to each market. Every city is unique, and we want to be as personal to that city as possible, and the only way to achieve this is to be embedded with the customers who love our product. We are hiring!

We want to build deep tentacles in a city and become a part of the culture, offer brands and products that really portray the underlying fabric of that city and bring the products that people want as fast as possible. The people are what defines the city and we hope to represent it in the most genuine way possible in every city we’re in: New York, Los Angeles, and now in San Francisco and Miami.

Our city expansion comes on the heels of us signing on 100 new brand partners that are exclusive to FastAF for instant delivery and are not found on other marketplaces. We always set out to build The World’s Most Brand Centric Company and that is why this milestone is so important to us. Brand partners like Behave, Olipop, Bala, Three Wishes, United Sodas of America, Sakara Life, Kin Euphorics chose us to service their customers and we are incredibly humbled to serve and give access to their customers and ours in a way that previously wasn’t possible. It’s these milestones that make it all worth it.

Today marks a big day for us and a start of something bigger. As the world opens up again, we believe there will be a new renaissance. We want to help redefine this decade by being there along for the journey with you and reimagine and how brands and customers are going to interact with each other from this day forward, in the only way we know how, FastAF.
